Alternative, nicer route to Neuschwanstein

To use the nicer route, go as far as Roßhaupten at the beginning of Lake "Forggensee".
There is a sign for
Roßhaupten
Halblech
Buching
Leave the highway on the right and then shortly thereafter turn left in the direction
of "Halblech, Buching". The road leads you over the dam of the lake and then along the northern end of the lake
with a beautiful view to the Alps and the castle. (Swimming opportunity)
Then continue in the direction of Schloss Neuschwanstein. Pass the Lake "Bannwaldsee".
Just before the castle you will pass the church "St.Coloman", which is a famous photo motif.
