Tegelberg
Tegelberg is the mountain on the flank of which Neuschwanstein Castle is located.
Therefore, it can be climbed directly from Neuschwanstein and the Marienbrücke with a beautiful scenic hike. At the top you can reach a mountain hut (restaurant) and the top station of the cable car. From there you can reach the summit (which is called "Branderschrofen") in an hour with easy climbing.
You can also use the cable car for the ascent and descent (32.50€ pP, up and down in 2026).
At the bottom station of the cable car there is also a summer toboggan run.
