Traffic connection

By train

A day-ticket ("Bayern-Ticket") for 2 or more persons, with which you can use all trains and public transport in Bavaria, costs about 30€.
We recommend to use the app "DB-Navigator" to search for connections. It is working also in English.
By Bus
Usually we pick our guests up at the train-station or we take them back.
But there is a hourly bus from the train station to a stop nearby.
Take the bus 6 from the train-station "Bahnhof Kaufbeuren" to the station "Salzstraße". The bus usually runs every hour, except on Sundays. From the station "Salzstraße" it is only a few minutes to walk.
By Taxi
Taxi would cost about 17€.
By car
Autobahn A7 (Würzburg, Ulm): At the Memmingen interchange, take the Autobhan A96 toward Mü,nchen(Munich). Take the "Bad Wörishofen" exit. (from Memmingen about 1 hour)
Autobahn A96 (Mü,nchen(Munich)-Lindau): Exit Jengen / Bad Wörishofen / Kaufbeuren in 20 min.
Auto A7 from the South (Austria, Italy) via Innsbruck, Fernpass, Reutte: Exit Nesselwang. From there less than 1 hour.
By foot
Yes - you could walk! Takes about 1 h from the station. A tough American couple from Alaska has done it, when we weren't at home!
Usually we pick our guests up at the train-station or we take them back.
By plane
Note, that the airport Memmingen (FMM) is very close!
