Important Information For Your Stay

Parking

… in the driveway, on the far right side of the house, between the front door and the garage. Please do not block the garage. The neighbor should still have enough room to drive out.

or on the street, on the far right next to the carport. By the way, parking against the direction of traffic is prohibited in Germany!

Leaving the house

Please close the windows, also in the bathroom.
In case of longer absence please turn down the heating to approx. 15°C.

Departure / Check-out

We are flexible about that. If there are guests the next day, we would appreciate, that we could take the covers off for washing and drying at about 11.
It's not necessary to make your beds. If you'd like, take the covers off.
Please don't forget anything! Check the bathroom, behind the doors and the refrigerator.
If you want to say “Goodbye” and there's no one in sight, ring the doorbell.

WiFi / Wlan

Window Roller Shade

Don't forget to close the window shade before going to bed so the sun doesn't wake you up in the morning.

Heating

There's a regulator to the right of the door. The display shows the set temperature in °C. With the rotary knob you can select another temperature. It takes a few minutes until the valve reacts automatically.
If you leave the room for longer than 1 hour, please set the temperature down to 15°C.
When the window is opened, the heater automatically shuts down.
The heating normally does not run from 22:00 to 6:00.
This is no Air Conditioning: It doesn't cool down your room!

Kitchen

Please be sure to use our kitchen and refrigerator. Eating in the guest room or storing food there causes odors and mess. Please ask us, what time you plan to cook. Feel free to use small amounts of food, spices, salad oil or anything else you need for cooking. In the guest room, there is a folder with a picture of the kitchen that shows where everything is located.

To use the gas stove:
Hold down one of the buttons on the top and turn it 90 degrees left (anti-clockwise). The gas will start and will be lit automatically. For less heat turn more anti-clockwise.

You are welcome to use any dishes, pots, pans, cutlery and so on.
Put things in the refrigerator, if necessary.

Please clean up the kitchen afterwards and put the dishes into the dishwasher.
There's a trash can in front of the house - on Wednesdays, it's up by the street,

Tap water

… is good for drinking and even better than bottled water.

Bathroom

… is just next to your room. Towels and toilet paper are on the board above the door.

Garden / Conservatory

You can use the garden and the conservatory. Leave at the front-door, turn left and enter the “Hanna Wilderness”. There is no dog! There are chairs and a table, deckchairs in the cellar, a fire-place, a hammock, a swing for children. You can sit in the conservatory with much space, ask us, if it's locked.

Smoking

… is allowed in the conservatory with opened door and in the garden. Please don't put your butts into the gardenbeds.

Laundry

You are welcome to use our washing-machine. No dryer. Please ask us.
Hang the laundry to dry on the clothesline in the garden. Under no circumstances should you hang wet laundry in your room! We have a drying room in the basement for bad weather. Ask!

Dogs

… are welcome. They may use the garden, but please remove the dog poop.
A garbage can is located in front of the house, next to the entrance.

Going for a walk

If you like to do some workout, or go for a walk, please find enclosed this scenic walk (½ h). If the weather is good – specially when we have „Föhn“ (a special Southern wind) – you'll see the Alps from there.
